Plants in My House and in the Desert

I've been meaning to put out a post for quite some time now and my pictures keep building up. I hardly know where to start! I suppose I'll start close and end far (my room/house ending in the desert). So, in and around my room:

I've been working on various projects recently. One is specifically based on tubes. I'm in the initial stages and don't really have any idea of what its going to turn into. But here's what I have so far:

I also did this watercolour/ink drawing. I'm not really sure what the deal is and I have a feeling its not done. But its what I've done so far. I don't know how I feel about it.

My potato plant has turned into a veritable giant of sorts.

I also got some new succulents and put them in a pot/bowl that I already. Yay!

One day I was looking out my window and I saw some ravens sitting in a tree together. I must say, these birds are by far my favourite birds. They have so much personality whereas a good portion of birds seem to be pretty witless and dull.

Now we're going to come back inside because this is where I found my cat. She was meowing at me and I went into the hall to see what she wanted. She wanted to climb into the cupboard but it was closed so was asking for help to open it. Then she hopped inside and got cozy.

Then I went for a walk in the desert. It was such a beautiful day on sunday! I was so happy to be outside and take photos and pick up trash. It was really nice.

By the way, if you didn't figure it out: Its GREEN in the desert!! A momentous occasion in the seasonal year of the desert. We have both the poppy festival and the almond blossom festival. These are some of the new arrivals of the Spring.

I also picked some trash up that I'm going to use for sculptures. And what's more cool than making a rusty sculpture? Pretty much nothing! But this is also things that I just took pictures of. I didn't pick up all the trash yet. Thats my Environmental Biology project. Which I'm going to start soon.

Sorry this post was so particularly spastic. I feel like it was kind of messy so I apologise for that!

Oh! And PS: I got into Pacific Northwest College of Art!! AND got a scholarship too! Hurray!
